Men's handmade necklace

MATERIAL:

Burnt Sienna colored Sono wood beads, Ox bone carved beads, and Tibet silver beads combined together for a trendy look. The necklace is strung onto tigers tail wire for strength, durability and drape. Finished off with a barrel screw clasp.

SIZE:

19.25 inches including the clasp. The piece can be re-sized, just email us with the desired measurements.

STORY:

Bone was one of the first things early humans used for ornament. Beads made out of an animal bone were associated with ritual and magic. People believed the spirit of the animal continued to influence whoever wears a part of him, especially if the bones were altered only slightly. Modern urban humans, have lost the sense of magic that comes from being close companions to the animals that sustains them. But many tribal cultures like Maoris believe that every piece of bone jewelry has a soul and spiritual power.
